All-inclusive short-term or permanent rooms for able, independent adults 55+ in Lubbock, Texas.
The Heart Behind Serenity House
Long before Serenity House had a name, there was a boy growing up in a woman's group home in East Texas, living there with his mother and his sister. He never knew most of the women's stories — some were leaving domestic situations, some simply needed an affordable place to get back on their feet, and others never spoke of it at all. He was just a child; he never asked.
What he understands now is what that home gave them: safety, structure, and dignity. This became home — and within that house families found stability. In that house there was support, and every family was better than how they came
That boy grew into an adult, but he never forgot the people who were there for his family when they needed help. Serenity House exists to be that someone for others: affordable, independent co-living for adults 55+, where older adults are welcomed through the same open door that once opened for that young man and his family. And that boy? He's still here — part of the ownership family behind it all. Around here, some stories are shared, not signed. What matters is that we know firsthand what a caring home can give back to a person — because it was given to us all.
From us — to all of our future residents — welcome.

A good fit means independent
Serenity House is not assisted living. Residents care for themselves, manage their own medications, and move about independently.
This is a home, not a facility. Residents keep their own room, routine, and decisions, with the comfort of a community around them.
